Good skincare and individuality are the twin pillars of makeup artist Lica Fensome’s work. Clear, healthy skin is always her starting point. From there, she finds looks that allow her model or client’s individuality to shine through.

After working as a beauty therapist, she formalised her makeup training by studying film and theatrical makeup at London College of Fashion.

Now she is involved in shoots to create adverts like those that once adorned her bedroom, with Clinique and Avon among the brands to feature Lica's work. She has also worked with the likes of Florence Welch, Kristin Scott Thomas and Olga Kurylenko.
